All the same, I acknowledge the worth of Chase's work which has not lost even an iota of its shine over the passage of time.जितेन्द्र माथुरhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15539997661147926371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24521439.post-74867849940076651192022-01-11T02:05:09.129-08:002022-01-11T02:05:09.129-08:00Thanks, Jitendra Sir. Since readers have read the Indianized versions of his stories, they do not take interest in the originals. All the same, still there are certain people who are translating his works in Indian languages (giving credit to him only) and the Indian readers are enjoying them in their respective mother tongues. But yes, the original English works of Chase are no longer seen on the Indian book stalls / in the book shops. Hearty thanks and compliments for this very good article. Chase was (and is) one of his kind only, no doubt about it. जितेन्द्र माथुरhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15539997661147926371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24521439.post-78863176052792145292020-08-08T03:54:33.478-07:002020-08-08T03:54:33.478-07:00Thanks, Deepa - it is not exactly the same as it i...Thanks, Deepa - it is not exactly the same as it is in the singular. I was never a movie buff though I greatly admired cinema as art. Recently I left my job, now retired I had free time, also because of Corona Lockdown. I used all three months to enrich myself with Malayali movies. I became great fan of these movies, Malayali culture and Kerala people after watching the movies. Bollywood is nowhere close to this cinema as far as quality in direction, acting are concerned. List : (1) Drishyam (2) Oru Maravathoor Kanavu (3) Professor with Gemini Ganesan (4) Loud Speaker..
